Dental Assistant Academy of Palm Beach
Dental Assistant Academy of Palm Beach offers two types of programs: outreach program and regular day program. The outreach program combines online classes with on-campus lab training. To graduate with a diploma, students must complete 50 credits. Graduates will also be eligible for a certificate that includes expanded functions of a dental assistant. The Academy of Palm Beach offers several entry-level programs in dental assisting.
Graduates of the program will be ready to take the national certification exam. This program is designed to train students in all aspects of dental assisting. Students will learn about dental anatomy and procedures, dental x-rays, fluoride application, sealants, and dental materials.
